How To Tap Into Tarot Wisdom Every Week, Easy

Featured

Looking for a consistent way of incorporating tarot into your everyday life?

It can really be as simple as having an effective system in place for having a bit of tarot wisdom to start off every week. I used to be that person who drew a card at the start of the week, nodded a couple of times and set the card down. Then by Tuesday, I’d already forgotten all about it. Repeat the process when Sunday comes again and sometimes I even forgot to reflect too.
Whether you are a beginner reader or more advanced, the process of reading tarot cards is mostly the same, you have a layout or spread and your read and analyse it. It’s a little different when you’re using it as a regular tool in your life, like you would a diary or a planner. The reading method has to adapt.

Here’s how you can incorporate your tarot’s wisdom every week, without fail.

1. Start on a set day every week.
Now, I still start on a Sunday. This can be up to your schedule, which day of the week you happen to have the most time to sit down and reflect. The start of the week is ideal, though I understand everyone has different lifestyles.

2. Have a tarot diary.
This doesn’t have to be a thick leather journal where you will write pages and pages about all your musings. I am weak when it comes to handwriting so I prefer either writing succinctly or typing it out. A small, pocket size weekly diary will do just fine.

3. Decide on two prompts.
Each week will have two prompts, one will be answered by you at the start of the week in regards to the card of the week you picked and the second would be answered just before you pick a new card in the next week. In essence, after the first week, you’ll be answering two questions.
The first question would be about your initial thoughts on what that card means for you for the week ahead. i.e.. What does this card mean for me this week?
The second question would be about how much of those initial thoughts and meanings manifested that week and if you had learned something new.
ie. How has this card manifested for me in the last week? What have I learned?

4. Discuss with a friend or ask for other opinions, if you like.
Once you’ve read your card and written down some insights, feel free to share it personally with a close friend or even your social media. It’s great to have several perspectives on a psychic insight you receive and they could add more to it, too.

5. Display your weekly card where you will always see it.
When your tarot weekly diary is closed and out of sight, a good way to always think back to its insights throughout the week is to display it somewhere you can see (that is if you won’t be using that deck in the meantime). I like using the solid card holders that stationery stores sell for business cards and memos. Simply pop your card onto it and leave it at your desk next to your decor. There.

6. Stick to your schedule!
Simple. If you need to set a weekly alarm, so be it. The more you get used to drawing your cards, getting insights and reflecting regularly, the more it becomes an easy routine.

It’s not easy to switch on and just get into the swing off conversing with your tarot (or even oracle) cards every week, it took me a couple months when I first started.

It’s always worth it, though. Your week simply starts out much better and with more positivity when you enter every new one with some guidance and motivation.
